Sharon Samples | b. 1982 | Mobile, AL

As my parents tell it, I've been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil. I won a coloring contest when I was four and never looked back. In 2006, I earned a BFA in Graphic Design with a minor in Photography from the University of South Alabama.

I drink a lot of tea.

I currently work at a printing company (yay! health insurance) and make art in my free time. It keeps me sane.

I'm also a photographer.

Who is artgyrl?
A character I created around 2002, she's the avatar for this site. She has a story that may eventually see light in comic form. Hopefully.
